The rules and agreements that govern your use of Aroundly

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, joining the waitlist, or using any part of the Aroundly platform including aroundly.co and our mobile app, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Aroundly.

These terms form a legally binding agreement between you and Aroundly Inc., a Delaware corporation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Aroundly. By creating an account, you confirm you are 18 or older and that the information you provide is accurate. We reserve the right to suspend accounts where eligibility requirements are not met.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at founders@aroundly.co if you suspect unauthorised access. You may not create multiple accounts or use another user's account without their permission.

You agree to use Aroundly only for lawful professional networking purposes. You must not:

6. Payments and Subscriptions

Payment processing is handled by Stripe. By providing payment information, you agree to Stripe's Terms of Service in addition to ours.

Premium subscriptions are billed monthly. You can cancel at any time from your account settings. access continues until the end of your current billing period. We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial months.

Aroundly service fees on event tickets are non-refundable once a ticket has been purchased. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice.

7. Location Services

Near Me and event check-in features require device location access. By enabling these features, you consent to location data collection as described in our Privacy Policy. You can withdraw consent at any time through device settings, which will disable proximity features but not other app functionality.

8. AI Features

Aroundly uses AI to generate icebreakers, follow-up suggestions, and event insights. These are suggestions only. You are responsible for reviewing any AI-generated content before sending it. We make no guarantee that AI-generated content will be appropriate in every context.

9. Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Aroundly. By posting, you grant Aroundly a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display and use that content to operate the platform. You represent that you own or have the right to share any content you post and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

10. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, trademarks, and intellectual property on Aroundly. including the Aroundly name, logo, and wordmark. are owned by Aroundly Inc. or licensed to us. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any part of the platform without written consent.

11. Connections and Networking

Aroundly facilitates introductions but is not responsible for the outcome of any connection, meeting, or transaction arising from platform use. We do not conduct background checks. You are responsible for exercising your own judgement when connecting with others and meeting in person.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aroundly Inc. and its officers, directors, and employees will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

Aroundly is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy or completeness of any content on the platform.

14. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from settings. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we are required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination. including intellectual property, limitation of liability, and dispute resolution. will survive.

15. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. Any dispute will be resolved through binding arbitration under the rules of the American Arbitration Association, except that either party may seek injunctive relief in a court of competent jurisdiction for IP disputes. You waive the right to participate in a class action against Aroundly.

16. Changes to These Terms

When we make material changes, we will notify you via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
